Los Angeles, CA - Silverlake Lounge

Back when Polaroid film was available and before I owned a fancy smart phone, my Polaroid 600 camera was always by my side. It would ride in the passenger seat when I commuted to work. I started shooting Polaroids of LA’s skyline from my car while driving on the 101 North. Yes, I know that sounds dangerous and I don’t encourage anyone to do it. If I was up early enough, I would take an alternate route to work just so that I can add a new perspective of the skyline to my collection. I fell in love with series. I moved into an apartment with a view of the skyline in 2009, which is when I began the “LA Everyday” series. Same perspective, different photo everyday.
